On Sunday Dec 5, the Rotary Club organised 'The District Rotary Youth
Leadership Programme for Girls' at the Gopal Sharma School at Powai. The
mission of the Rotary event was to inculcate leadership qualities,
especially in the girls through interaction with inspiring speakers from
the world of business, education and communications....
Piyul Mukherjee, CEO of Proact Research and Consultancy spoke on 'Communication Skills' leading to Career Options for Young Women in the field of Market Research. Mukherjee enlightened the youthful audience with her presentation on effective communication skills. She elucidated why women were found to be better researchers and communicators because they were more intuitive and multi task oriented. She also spoke on barriers of effective speaking and how well girls could work in Qualitative Research. Significantly, the preceptive, analytical and investigative characteristics of the lady made her a better researcher.
